This has been a long-term project. I bought the original kit from Amazon for just under $200.00 USD.

I did try to get it from AliExpress, but they shipped me a C.C.T.V. security camera system instead.

No amount of emails could fix this, so I sold it on the internet and went about my business.

This kit came in about 200 parts and took the better part of a day to put together.

But it worked. No one was more amazed than I was!

Over the past five years, I have made tons of upgrades.

Truly the only thing that is original to the A8 are the stepper motors and the main card,

but I did upgrade the driver chips and mosfets.

I just can’t bring myself to do all the rewiring that the board replacement will take; I will when she fails!

I can say that I printed over 500 of these and gave them away at no charge during the height of Covid.
