This is my 1975 Citi car. There were about 1500 of these made in the mid to late 70’s.
I got this one from a guy in Georgia.
It had no history or title, as is the case with most of the surviving cars.
The cars were made in Sebring, FL. Sad side note: I took a road trip out there and could find no one that knew anything about the cars or their history.
You can find quite a bit of info on the web if you make an effort.
My Car is in about the same sad shape as most of the UN-restored survivors.
I got her in the late winter of 2023.
Before it got too hot, I was able to locate new brake parts and a driver's side door.
I was also able to get her re-titled and get a plate for her (no small effort there!).
So that’s progress.
Next, I have to replace the brakes and wheel bearings. Rolling and stopping are a priority for me.
The wiring and electrical systems are a total loss. But in a way that’s better. I’ll just replace everything and start new.
The car itself was constructed on an all-aluminum frame so it has good bones. Just needs a bit of effort.
